Originally from Canada, Julie has been active since childhood, practicing and competing in many sports over the years: water and alpine skiing, rock and ice climbing, tennis, mountain biking, swimming, hiking, yoga, etc. She started practicing barre 5 years ago, inspired by dance and curious to find out what makes this workout so attractive. From the start, she appreciated this
impact-free exercise and defined the whole body. To her surprise, barre also resolved her lower back problems!
Always looking to deepen her knowledge of anatomy and fitness, Julie became a certified Staccato Barre instructor (100 hours) in 2017 and she has been teaching ever since. She loves to offer a fun and challenging class and set the mood with inspiring playlists.
Julie has been practicing yoga for over 20 years and she has her yoga certification in Hatha yoga (200 RYT-2003) and
Yin Yoga (2018) she is also certified in massage therapy with a specialization in therapeutic sports massage.
